"Incident Management for the Next Generation"
On the 9th October 2010, Bayswater Fire Brigade will host its seventh annual Control Line Masterclass at the Karralyka Centre in Ringwood, Victoria.
Control Line 2010 is a one day masterclass focussing on the fundamentals of incident management and is designed for people currently involved in the management of emergencies, or who will be in the future.
Emergency events across Australia in recent times have challenged communities, governments, emergency services, and health and community service organisations. Organisations with emergency management responsibility are faced with the real challenge of how to grow and nurture the next generation of incident managers.
Control Line 2010 provides an opportunity for participants to learn and be guided by some of Australia’s most respected and experienced leaders in incident management. This year’s program is designed to specifically focus on some of the fundamentals of formal incident management, and to workshop a range of concepts, skills and requirements to enable response, relief and recovery leaders to operate more effectively during emergencies.
